The Grand Finale of MDX 6-Week Long Campaign
Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) organised and hosted Malaysia Digital Expo 2023 (MDX), a 6-week long campaign featuring multiple events held at different locations and states in Malaysia. The peak of the 6-week long campaign; MDX Grand Finale was hosted at Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) starting from 6th until 8th of November, as a platform to celebrate MDEC achievements and to bring together both local and international digital industry players in one grand event to share and connect.
Paving the Way for a Madani Digital Economy
During the opening the speech by YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim, prior to the official launch, he hopes that through MDX 6-week long campaign, Malaysia’s digital economy will improve. And with the digital economy improvements that will be brought by MDX, he intent to make Malaysia’s digital transformation to be more inclusive; to enable those living in rural areas and urban poor have access to latest technological innovations.
He entrusts the future of Malaysia’s digital economy to homegrown digital leaders; to be mentors to emerging tech companies in Malaysia.
Embracing the Emerging AI Technology
In the wake of the emerging and disruptive AI technology, many concerns surfaced. During Zack Kass, Head of Go-to-Market at OpenAI, keynote session addressed these concerns and the best way to overcome these concerns is by embracing and learning more about AI technology. Only then society will be able to learn the true nature of AI technology and its capabilities.
AI technology is here to stay, it will endure and bring about radical changes to the world. The key to surviving and staying relevant throughout all the changes is to increase skill resilience which allow society to deftly adapt to the radical changes that will happen soon.
